word 2003 print layout
If you recently upgraded to Microsoft Office 2003 you may be wondering what's the deal with the Print Layout view in Word. Word 2003 hides the whitespace in the print layout which is confusing because you think your document will print without any kind of margin.
Solution: To get the proper print layout back, move your mouse to the top edge of your page. While hovering over that edge you should get two arrows pointing in opposite directions (show white space) click once and you'll get the real print layout back.
I'm not sure why they added this toggle, maybe to utilize more screen real estate? It doesn't make much sense because with hide white space selected the view is no longer an accurate print layout view.
